I started this blog to document where I’ve traveled and where I am traveling and where I want to travel.
My dream is to see all the amazing places the world has to offer. Isn’t that a dream most of us aspire to? Somewhere in all of us is a travel bug, itchy feet to get moving and get to discovering.
This desire to wanderlust has been with me from an early age. It was nurtured by my mother who took me out of the country for the first time to see Paris, France; Helsinki, Finland; and St. Petersburg, Russia at the age of 11.
In my lifetime I want to explore all 7 continents, venture into all major circles of latitude, wakeup at least once in each time zone, and visit over 100 countries. I want to go as a tourist and I want to go as a native. There are reasons after all to head out to certain places – I want to see the sights!
A journey begins with desire and ends when one can’t marvel anymore. I think I will be able to marvel for a long time. There’s so much to see and so many beautiful unimaginable places in the world just waiting to be discovered. That said, there are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going!
My urge to travel has only grown, hampered only from lack of funds. (Who wouldn’t love an unlimited budget? If I had one I think the very first trip I’d take would be an around the world cruise!!!)
